The New York State Trauma Informed Network and Resource Center (NYS TINRC) which is funded by NYS OMH, promotes learning, growing, and the deepening of knowledge. It creates and enhances partnerships, builds and supports communities, and furthers the understanding of trauma, trauma-responsive practices, wellness, and well-being.

Instructor’s Edition: Tending the Roots Training

This initiative aims to expand statewide trauma-informed training capacity by establishing a network of qualified trainers and champions, thereby enhancing awareness and effective implementation of Trauma Informed Care (TIC) at both local and community levels. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the materials and training program for Tending the Roots 
  • Teach the Tending the Roots program as planned 
  • Build your confidence as a trainer
